Apache Hadoop 2.9.0 has been released. This is the first release of Hadoop 2.9 line, marking the start of Apache Hadoop 2.9.x series. It includes 30 new features with 500+ subtasks, in addition to 407 improvements and 790 bug fixes including new fixed issues since 2.8.2.
