I started to add a daily coping tip to the SQLServerCentral newsletter and to the Community Circle, which is helping me deal with the issues in the world. I’m adding my responses for each day here.
Today’s tip is to add the word “yet” when you feel you can’t do something.
This is good advice because telling yourself that you can’t do something before you even try is a self-fulfilling prophesy. Accomplishing most goals require figuring out what’s needed. Do you want to run a marathon, but you’ve never really run before? Set a smaller goal of running a 5K or even a mile. If you make a good plan and follow through, you have a shot at that bigger goal.
